Ovarian stimulation in a short protocol begins with the administration of gonadotropins after the drop in menstruation.
In the example of this medication schedule, the patient was administered Gonal-f plus Menopur for follicular development. Then, 5 days later, she added to the punctures the antagonist Cetrotide for 3 days, until the puncture was scheduled. That day Ovitrelle was injected for follicular maturation and 34 hours later was follicular puncture.
Finally, it is necessary to administer progesterone to support the luteal phase from the day of the puncture until the day of the pregnancy test. If positive, progesterone continues to be administered until indicated by the physician.
