Mini IVF is the same as a conventional IVF, with the difference in the hormonal doses used in ovarian stimulation.
In the case of mini IVF, the ovarian stimulation phase has a shorter duration, and the patient will also have to take lower doses of medication. The patient will begin around day 5 with the gonadotropin punctures and when the ovarian follicles reach a size of 14 mm, the administration of antagonists will be started.
Once the follicular size is 16-18 mm, the specialist will induce ovulation and schedule the follicular puncture at 36 hours.
