Miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy before the 20th week of gestation or when the fetus weighs less than 500 grams.
The loss of a desired pregnancy is one of the most dramatic situations a couple can experience. It is advisable to mourn the loss, assimilate it and let some time pass until you are ready to try to get pregnant again.
