In vitro fertilization (IVF) with preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a fertility treatment that prevents the transmission of genetic diseases to the offspring. For this purpose, the embryos obtained after IVF are genetically studied. In this way, only healthy embryos are transferred and genetically altered embryos are discarded.
Prior to an IVF cycle, it is important to carry out an informativity study of the parents.
