Embryo transfer in a natural cycle is when the production of estrogen and progesterone of the menstrual cycle is used instead of exogenously administering these hormones. Therefore, it is important to have regular menstrual cycles and to ovulate every month on the same day to make cycle control easier.
However, a disadvantage of the natural cycle is that there is less flexibility in making the transfer, as well as greater risk of cancellation.
