One of the most outstanding features at 9 weeks of gestation is that the embryo begins to define its fingers, which separate from each other forming the baby's little hand. The same happens with the legs and feet.
The eyelids appear on the eyes, which will remain closed for the time being. The nose and ears also begin to take on a normal shape.
