Fertility treatments are a time of great stress and uncertainty in themselves. Add to this the fact that reproductive attempts do not end with the desired outcome, and patients may throw in the towel before they are able to start a family.
Assisted reproduction treatments are emotionally and financially draining. Each attempt costs money, and patients may run out of financial resources to try a new cycle of AI or IVF.
