Some studies have been conducted to analyze whether ovarian stimulation influences embryo quality. One way to evaluate this possible effect of ovarian stimulation is to compare stimulated and unstimulated cycles.
In general, the results of these studies suggest that ovarian stimulation does not affect embryo division or embryo quality, nor does it increase aneuploidy (chromosomal alterations). However, the complexity of developing these studies means that there are no conclusive and robust results.
