After pregnancy, it is not possible to be sure whether menstruation or ovulation will come first. Therefore, it is important for women to be aware of some physiological changes that may be indicative of the return of fertility.
For example, the increase in estrogen prior to ovulation will cause the cervical fluid to become more sticky and, in addition, the cervix will adopt a higher position and a softer consistency.
