Menstrual pain, whose medical term is dysmenorrhea, is a pain in the lower abdomen associated with the days of menstruation. However, women may also notice other symptoms during these days, such as the following:
- Headache.
- Back pain
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
Occasionally, dysmenorrhea can be so severe that it makes it difficult or impossible for a woman to carry out her daily activities.
