A common diagnostic test used to diagnose PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) is a transvaginal ultrasound. It allows the specialist to see the ovaries, uterine cavity, and Fallopian tubes.
For this test to be conclusive, the woman must be on her period in the moment of performing the test.
