In women with PCOS, ovulation can be achieved using Letrozole, a simple and effective treatment. It involves taking 5 pills of Letrozole during the third and eighth day of menstruation. This dosage is normally enough to cause the follicles to start growing. When follicle growth is adequate, ovulation is triggered using Ovitrelle (hCG shot). Then, intercourse or IUI is scheduled for the net 36 hours.
