The main problems associated with hepatitis B arise at the liver level. However, it takes several weeks for symptoms to manifest themselves after contact with the virus.
Among the most common symptoms in patients with hepatitis B are jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea, and joint pain.
However, these symptoms may go unnoticed or even be absent in children.
