Freezing testicular tissue is an option for preserving fertility in men, yet it is still an experimental technique. This method is similar to freezing ovarian tissue in women.
To do this, small fragments of tissue will be removed from the testicle. Specifically, tissue will be taken from the area of the seminiferous tubules where sperm are produced.
