Primary sterility, that is, when patients have not achieved any pregnancy after a long time of trying, can be due to several factors. These fertility problems can appear in the man, in the woman or in both.
For example, poor sperm quality, abnormal ovarian, uterine or tubal function or different genetic alterations could lead to primary sterility in a couple.
