Repeated or recurrent embryo implantation failure (RIF) makes reference to IVF failure after having completed three transfer cycles or having transferred more than six embryos.
To determine whether it is a case of embryo implantation failure or not, the following requirements should me met during the IVF process:
- Transfer of good quality embryos
- No technical difficulties are encountered during the embryo transfer procedure
- No uterine abnormalities exist
