Evaluation of ovarian reserve

In order to be able to perform an AI with maximum chances of success, one of the requirements refers to the woman's ovarian reserve. Therefore, it is recommended that the patient be under 36 years of age, since the ovarian reserve decreases with age.

In addition, the patient should also undergo hormonal determinations and a transvaginal ultrasound with an antral follicle count. These tests will help the specialist to evaluate the woman's ovarian reserve, as well as the functionality of her menstrual cycle.
