Laparoscopic salpingectomy is a simple surgical procedure for the removal of the fallopian tubes. Laparoscopy is performed by introducing an optical system through a small incision to obtain the inside of the abdominal cavity illuminated. With another small incision, one or both fallopian tubes are then cut and removed.
