Once the postpartum period is over, the woman should ideally see a pelvic floor physiotherapist, who can assess the condition of her pelvic floor and abdomen after childbirth. Once you have obtained the consent of the gynecologist, you should start recovery exercises guided by the physiotherapist, as these muscles are very weakened after pregnancy and childbirth.
Once the pelvic floor and abdomen are completely recovered, you can gradually add other exercises until you are able to practice sports in a normal way.
