Male infertility accounts for 30% of infertility cases in a couple. There are several reasons why men may have difficulty in achieving pregnancy.
On the one hand, there is the pretesticular factor, which refers to hormonal alterations. Next, there is the testicular factor, that is, those problems that directly affect the testicles.
On the other hand, the posttesticular factor refers to alterations in the seminal ducts or urinary tract. Finally, the sperm factor would include all those alterations in the semen and sperm production.
