This graph shows the delivery and pregnancy rates by embryo transfer in an IVF-ICSI cycle using fresh eggs and as a function of the woman's age. As can be seen in the image, as the woman's age increases, the probability of pregnancy and delivery decreases.
In women under 35 years of age, the probability of achieving a pregnancy using their own fresh eggs is 43% according to the statistical registry of the Spanish Fertility Society in 2021. However, this percentage is reduced to 22.5% in women over 40 years of age.
