Importance of the Fallopian Tubes

The Fallopian tubes communicate the ovaries with the uterus, therefore their optimal function is key to achieve a successful pregnancy.

These conducts receive the oocyte in the process of ovulation, it allows the pass of the sperm so that the fertilization can occur and later the embryo can get to the uterus for implantation.

When there is a problem in the tubes that can affect fertility, it´s called infertility by tubal factor.
