Normally, tumors are diagnosed during a routine check-up. In the case of ovarian tumors, their diagnosis can be made by means of an abdominal ultrasound after observing a whitish tissue inside the ovary. In addition, an MRI can be performed.
Sometimes a histological study is necessary to evaluate the malignancy of the tumor.
