Teratozoospermia or teratospermia is an alteration of sperm morphology. If the great majority of the spermatozoa in the ejaculate have abnormal shapes, then the result of the seminal analysis will be teratozoospermia.
In these cases, and depending on the degree of severity of the teratozoospermia, the man can fulfill his reproductive desire through artificial insemination (AI), sperm microinjection (ICSI) or by selecting the best spermatozoa using the IMSI technique for subsequent ICSI.
