The Eeva test is a method of early prediction of which embryos have the greatest potential to develop into blastocysts. Therefore, Eeva is very useful in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles to assist the embryologist in selecting the embryo or embryos with the highest potential to be transferred to the patient.
Eeva is based on time-lapse systems and a prediction algorithm to provide a result of the developmental potential of each embryo analyzed. For this purpose, the Eeva system can be incorporated into a traditional incubator. However, the Eeva test can currently be performed in the Geri+ incubator.
