In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a highly complex assisted reproduction technique and its cost is higher than that of artificial insemination (AI). Specifically, IVF ranges around 3,500-5,500 euros, although it should be taken into account that this price may vary from one fertility clinic to another. In addition, it is important to evaluate the services and complementary tests in each of the budgets, as well as their additional cost.
Another aspect to consider is the hormonal medication needed to stimulate the ovaries and produce multiple follicles. This medication is not usually included in any budget and involves an extra expense of approximately 1,000 euros, although it will depend on the doses needed for each patient.
