PICSI or Physiological ICSI

PISCI or physiological ICSI is an alternative to traditional ICSI in which sperm selection is performed beforehand. For this, a plate with hyaluronic acid, a substance that also surrounds the egg, is used.

Therefore, those sperm capable of binding to the plate will also be able to recognize the egg and fertilization will occur. In addition, PISCI uses a microscope with a 6000 magnification, which allows a better observation of the spermatozoa.
