Tubal ligation is a fairly easy and safe permanent method of contraception. Some of the situations in which tubal ligation can be performed are the following:
- Women who do not want to have any more babies in the future.
- Women 40-50 years old with a history of ovarian cancer.
- Women whose health condition is incompatible with pregnancy.
However, there are women who regret having a tubal ligation. However, there is the option of resorting to in vitro fertilization (IVF) to become a mother after tubal ligation.
