Curettage is a simple surgical procedure that takes only a few minutes. This technique consists of opening the cervix with dilators. This will then allow the instruments necessary for curettage to be inserted.
During this procedure, a narrow rod with a loop at the end is inserted to scrape the walls of the uterus and remove the endometrial layer.
