Fibroids are benign tumors that appear in the uterus. Specifically, myomas are associated with the myometrium, that is, the inner layer of the uterus.
Myomatosis can be of different types depending on their location. Myomas are usually diagnosed in women of childbearing age, around 30-40 years of age.
