There are different reasons why uterine malformations may appear, although sometimes the exact cause is unknown. However, some of the possible causes include genetic problems, exposure to radiation, intrauterine infections or the use of certain medications.
Each case is unique, so treatment options for existing uterine malformation as well as reproductive options may vary among the female population.
