After the embryo transfer, the last step of in vitro fertilization (IVF), the two-week wait develops. This is the period of time that the couple must wait before being able to take a pregnancy test and know the result of the treatment.
This beta waiting period usually lasts about 12-15 days, which are full of nerves and anguish for the couple.
