Although tubal ligation reversal surgery is available, it is not always possible (for example, if the tubes have been completely removed). However, even if reversal is possible, if other circumstances prevent or hinder pregnancy in a natural way, it is advisable to resort to assisted reproductive techniques.
Since artificial insemination (AI) requires the patency and functionality of the fallopian tubes, this is totally ruled out. Therefore, with tubal ligation it is necessary to resort directly to in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques.
