Vasectomy is a permanent male contraception technique. This intervention consists of cutting the vas deferens, in such a way as to prevent the passage of spermatozoa and, therefore, their expulsion to the exterior with the ejaculate.
Thus, although the man will continue to ejaculate normally, the semen will only be composed of what is produced by the prostate, the seminal vesicle and other accessory glands, without containing spermatozoa.
