Women who do not have a partner can become single mothers thanks to assisted reproductive techniques.
Only a sperm donor is required and artificial insemination (AI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) can be performed.
The choice of fertility treatment will depend on the characteristics of the woman. For example, if she has a low ovarian reserve or her fallopian tubes are not permeable, IVF will be performed.
On the other hand, if the woman does not have any gynecological problem and her ovarian reserve is good, AI will be the treatment of choice.
